Do Colours Affect Our Mood?

30 09 2009

Colours are all around us every day. Each color has its own vibration frequency; the vibration of each color influences us in a different way. Each part of our body also has its own frequency; these signals interact all the time.

Colours have their own silent way of communicating and have a very strong affect on all our emotions and physical well-being. Colours can make a home more sophisticated, or clothes seem fashionable.

Why are people more relaxed in a green room? Why are people who like the colour red, very strong and courageous?

“White represents purity and innocence. Whites have a positive well-balanced personality. The negative side to white is loneliness”

“Black is a very secretive colour and a sign of something hidden; it is connected to unconscious thoughts and ideas. Teenagers tend to be drawn to this color because of the mystery it represents while they are discovering their true identity.”

“Pink is a shade of red with white added; it is a gentler colour and represents affection, love and romance. It is a very warming and healing colour.”

“Red is a very vibrant color, the colour of strength, power and courage.”

“Orange is a very uplifting stimulating colour and represents warm-heartedness, patience and optimism.”

“Yellow is the colour of happiness and is a very uplifting colour.”

“Green represents healing, nature, harmony and balance.”

“Blue represents peace, compassion, and protection and is very good for meditation.”

“Purple is a very spiritual colour and comes in many shades from pale to indigo or violet.”

“Brown represents earth and helps us to feel grounded especially when we are feeling out of sorts.”

Colours are always going to be around us and they will always affect our moods.
